The colored lines represent the areas in between. The areas connecting named places. It is these states of limbo that I find so interesting. The way we interact with each other. Not allowed to stare or look, if you catch someones eye it is normal to look away. I like challenging myself. To draw people and not to look away but smile and carry on and to deal with the consequences. Sometimes they do not notice, sometimes they do but will ignored me fiercely and other times they want to see. These little interactions and experiences are what inspire my work.
